Zebranie organizacyjne Komisji Historii i Konserwacji Architektury Sakralnej PKN ICOMOS w 2025 roku
W dniu 11.06. 2025 roku odbyło się zebranie organizacyjne Komisji Historii i Konserwacji Architektury Sakralnej PKN ICOMOS i przebiegało się w formie stacjonarnej z możliwością udziału online. KHiKAS PKN ICOMOS została utworzona w 2006 roku i od tej pory jej przewodniczącą jest prof. Ewa Łużyniecka. W czasie tegorocznego spotkania ustalono listę członków i sympatyków komisji. Funkcję sekretarza komisji objęła dr Monika Dąbkowska. Ustalono główne zadania komisji polegające na organizowaniu dyskusji na temat badań architektury sakralnej oraz problemów konserwatorskich. Planowane spotkania będą także platformą wymiany poglądów na temat zabytków i ich użytkowania. Komisja zamierza powrócić do nazwy tych cyklicznych spotkań : Rozmowy o dawnej architekturze sakralnej (Conversations about old sacral architecture). Ustalono wstępnie, że członkowie komisji będą mogli uczestniczyć w spotkaniach online organizowanych raz na dwa miesiące w czwartki o godzinie 17.00. Harmonogram i tematyka spotkań zostanie przedstawiona w najbliższym czasie. Organizational meeting of the History and Conservation of Sacred Architecture Commission of PKN ICOMOS in 2025.
On June 11, 2025,the organizational meeting of the History and Conservation of Sacred Architecture Commission of PKN ICOMOS took place in-person with the possibility of online participation. The KHiKAS PKN ICOMOS was established in 2006, and since then, its chairperson has been Prof. Ewa Łużyniecka. During this year’s meeting, the list of members and supporters of the commission was established. Dr. Monika Dąbkowska took on the role of the commission’s secretary. The main tasks of the commission were determined, focusing on organizing discussions on the research of sacred architecture and conservation issues. Planned meetings will also serve as a platform for exchanging views on monuments and their usage. The commission intends to revert to the name of these cyclical meetings: Conversations about old sacral architecture. It has been preliminarily established that committee members will be able to participate in online meetings organized once every two months on Thursdays at 5:00 PM. The schedule and topics of the meetings will be presented in the near future. Komisja Historii i Konserwacji Architektury Sakralnej PKN ICOMOS została utworzona w 2006 roku i od tej pory działa realizując różnego rodzaju przedsięwzięcia. (sprawozdania- https://icomos-poland.org/pl/struktura-organizacyjna/komisja-historii-architektury-sakralnej.html) . Zadaniem komisji jest organizowanie spotkań, dyskusje na temat rozwiązywania problemów konserwatorskich oraz wymiana poglądów na temat zabytkowej architektury sakralnej i jej użytkowania. Większość planowanych od 2025 roku działań komisji jest związana z trzema cyklicznymi zdarzeniami, organizowanymi stacjonarnie i online. Pierwsze z nich to obecna InterCathCon _2025. Jest częścią cyklu międzynarodowych konferencji Interdyscyplinary Cathedrals Conference, związanych z ecclesia cathedralis . Cykl ten przewidziany jest jako platforma wymiany doświadczeń między badaczami, konserwatorami i właścicielami. Stąd jednej strony patronat Generalnego Konserwator Zabytków, Bożeny Jadwigi Żelazowskiej i z drugiej – Przewodniczącego Rady d.s. Kultury i Ochrony Dziedzictwa Kulturowego Konferencji Episkopatu Polski, ks. bp prof. Michała Janochy. W czasie konferencji , w dniu 11 .06. 2025 roku o godzinie 16.00 odbędzie się zebranie Komisji Historii i Konserwacji Architektury Sakralnej PKN ICOMOS. Na niej zostanie uaktualniona lista członków o raz zostanie przedstawiony terminarz przyszłych działań. Drugi rodzaj planowanych aktywności komisji jest związany z cyklem międzynarodowych konferencji ArchReSci (Architecture-Research-Science). Ich celem jest prezentacja najnowszych metod, technik i sposobów prowadzenia badań w szeroko rozumianej dyscyplinie architektura i urbanistyka (patrz http://archresci.pwr.edu.pl). Przedmiotem przedstawianych referatów jest również architektura sakralna. Odbyły się dwie konferencje tego typu. W 2023 roku wygłoszono 37 referatów, ogółem w konferencji wzięło udział 80 uczestników, a w 2024 roku zakwalifikowano 80 wystąpień a uczestniczyło w niej 150 osób. Następna planowana jest w 2026 roku. Komisja zamierza także powrócić do cyklicznych spotkań pt.: Rozmowy o dawnej architekturze sakralnej (Conversations about old sacral architecture). Tematem pierwszego seminarium w 2025 roku będą wyniki projektu badawczego Archi_Krzeszów, realizowanego przez pracowników i studentów czterech uczelni: politechnicznych wydziałów architektury z Wrocławia, Warszawy i Gdańska oraz z uniwersytetu Przyrodniczego w Lublinie. Celem projektu była analiza architektury, układu przestrzennego, komunikacji, rozwiązań inżynierskich, ogrodów i kontekstu krajobrazowego dawnego opactwa cysterskiego w Krzeszowie.
The Commission for the History and Conservation of Sacred Architecture of PKN ICOMOS was established in 2006 and has been active ever since, carrying out various projects. (reports – https://icomos-poland.org/pl/struktura-organizacyjna/komisja-historii-architektury-sakralnej.html). The task of the commission is to organize meetings, discussions on solving conservation problems, and sharing views on historic sacred architecture and its use. Most of the activities planned by the committee from 2025 are related to three cyclical events, organized both in-person and online. The first of these is the current InterCathCon _2025. It is part of a series of international conferences known as the Interdisciplinary Cathedrals Conference, which are related to ecclesia cathedralis. This series is intended to serve as a platform for the exchange of experiences among researchers, conservators, and owners. Therefore, on one hand, there is the patronage of the General Conservator of Historic Monuments, Bożena Jadwiga Żelazowska, and on the other hand – the Chairman of the Council for Culture and the Protection of Cultural Heritage of the Polish Episcopal Conference, Bishop Professor Michał Janocha. On June 11, 2025, at 4:00 PM, a meeting of the History and Conservation of Sacred Architecture Committee of PKN ICOMOS will take place during the conference. The member list will be updated, and the schedule of future activities will be presented. The second type of planned activities of the committee is related to the cycle of international conferences ArchReSci (Architecture-Research-Science). Their purpose is to present the latest methods, techniques, and approaches to research in the broadly understood discipline of architecture and urban planning (see http://archresci.pwr.edu.pl). The topics of the presented papers also include sacred architecture. Two conferences of this type have been held. In 2023, 37 papers were presented, with a total of 80 participants attending the conference, and in 2024, 80 presentations were accepted, with 150 people participating. The next one is planned for 2026. The Commission also intends to return to regular meetings titled: Conversations about old sacral architecture. The subject of the first seminar in 2025 will be the results of the research project Archi_Krzeszów, conducted by employees and students from four universities: the technical faculties of architecture from Wrocław, Warsaw, and Gdańsk, as well as from the University of Life Sciences in Lublin. The goal of the project was to analyze the architecture, spatial layout, communication, engineering solutions, gardens, and the landscape context of the former Cistercian abbey in Krzeszów.
