the following are the works that composed the Sacrum \/ Profanum exhibition, which took place at the Faculty of Architecture of the Wroc\u0142aw University of Technology in June 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

thank you for participating in the IntrCathCon_2025 conference. We would like to inform you that we intend to publish the articles in the issue of the journal „Architectus” 2,3\/2026. Contributions for this issue should be submitted electronically by November 30, 2025, by visiting the journal’s website. Editorial work is conducted using the Bentus system – https:\/\/architectus.pwr.edu.pl<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first international Interdisciplinary Cathedral Conference was organized by the Faculty of Architecture of Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology and the Papal Faculty of Theology in Wroc\u0142aw. During the discussions of InterCathCon_2025, held from June 10 to 12, 55 speakers from Poland and abroad took part. Among the registered participants were scholars from Poland, Italy, Germany, Austria, Ukraine, and Turkey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meetings took place in the Faculty of Architecture at Wroc\u0142aw University of Technology in the faculty council room and in the building of the Papal Faculty of Theology in Wroc\u0142aw in the Benedikt XVI room. On the first day, topics related to issues of liturgy, architecture, and the furnishings of cathedrals in Wroc\u0142aw and Strasbourg predominated. Cross-sectional topics were also presented on the architecture of cathedrals in the 20th and 21st centuries in Poland, Ukraine, the USA, etc. On the second day, topics concerning the adaptation of religious and parish churches to cathedral functions were discussed. An initial discussion began on architectural research of various types of churches, and examples of conservation and adaptation to new functions were presented. This issue was also addressed on the third day of the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
